How it works...
We are compensated on a monthly residual basis by the Carriers. This business model is less expensive for the carriers compared to the overhead costs of a direct retail sales rep because the retail-rep is paid commission upfront one time for the whole contract term. Carrier Connections compensation is spread out over the term of the contract (not one time at the beginning) which insures long term accountability to you because our interest are the same as yours-good service for a good price.
What this means for example, the Carrier will have to pay 2,3 & even 5 (depending on contract term) years worth of commission upfront to a direct retail sales rep before they ever see any revenue from the signed contract. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this is very costly and expensive way of doing business which is why we often receive pricing for clients that direct retail carrier reps cannot access themselves.
